Although often stereotyped as so-called model minorities who achieve above-average levels of socioeconomic success, Asian Americans have varied economic and employment outcomes and require specific support from their companies, according to a new McKinsey report, Asian American workers: Diverse outcomes and hidden challenges. Asian Americans represent the fastest-growing ethnic group in the United States, one that is projected to almost double in the next 40 years.
